Does your BodyWork?

Many of you will know me as your physiotherapist, others will know me as "the foot lady" or indeed "the foot doctor" and still others know me as "the lady with the iron thumbs!". I am now in my present incarnation as Director of Physiotherapy here at BodyWorks.

But what exactly is a physiotherapist? And what do they treat and how?

Whilst I am mainly a "hands-on" practitioner, I have and use some of the most up to date equipment available including ultrasound, interferential, low level laser, bio-feedback and the latest muscle teaching "tool", a stabiliser. I am also delighted to advise that I have been chosen to be the first in Mainland Europe to have the revolutionary and ground breaking FOOTMAXX orthotic system.

A Cautionary Note
Sadly here on the "Costa" there are many so called "physiotherapists", many of whom do not have a recognised qualification to their name. PLEASE ensure that any therapist that you may see for whatever treatment you need has a Colegio number. If they have not, ASK WHY!
