Bodyworks is proud to present our very first seminar of what will hopefully be a series of such events.

Rather than the usual newsletter where a variety of topics are discussed, I wanted this one to concentrate and focus on the up and coming talk, namely Breast Cancer - Awareness and Care.

This seminar is taking place here at the clinic on Thursday 19th May at 12.30.

BREAST CANCER - Awareness and Care

On Thursday 19th May at 12.30, Bodyworks Health Clinic will be hosting a talk on Breast Cancer from preventative advice through to post mastectomy care and coping strategies.

Topics covered will consist of: Breast Examination, Treatments Available, Lymphatic System, Immune System, Nutrition & Diet, Toxicity, Exercise and Coping Strategies.

All speakers are specialists and experts.

A small charge of 10 euros will be made, proceeds going to the Los Claveles Association who are raising funds for a radiotherapy unit at the Costa del Sol Hospital.

Terra Sana will kindly discount lunch. If interested, please advise for numbers when reserving your place for the talk.

ESTELLE talks about her seminars

I hope this does not sound too altruistic but one of the most important things I have wanted to do in recent years is to give something back to the community.

When we were building Bodyworks, one of the reasons for incorporating our exercise studio is that this coud easily be adapted to a seminar room.

From here, I was hoping in part, to pass on the wealth of experience that I have gained over the past 27 years.

Bodyworks has now been up and running for 8 months and I am very flattered by the depth of experience and the breadth of knowledge of the talented individuals have who have joined the team.

In this regard, I make no bones (is this a physiotherapy pun) about asking for their help in making these presentations so without further ado, please read about our very first seminar on the left.
