Does Lymphatic Drainage help cellulite?

Does Lymphatic Drainage help cellulite?

This ladies (and it really is only ladies!) is the $64,000 dollar question. And I realise that the future of my mortgage payments and any hope I have of upgrading my Golf to a convertible rides on the answer to this question!

And the answer is . . . . . . Yes. But it helps it doesn’t cure.

So this is how it works – underneath the skin, all of the skin on your body, are fat cells. And, depending on a whole bunch of factors, these are bigger or smaller. Now in some areas of the body, often the thighs, buttocks and abdomen these fat cells become entangled in connective tissue which means that on the surface, they look “dimpled”. And this is cellulite.

Why does it happen? Well there is most probably a hormonal element as it really does affect most women and rarely affects men. And then of course there are lifestyle elements and  . . . . . drum roll please . . . . lymphatic compromise!

So you can see where I come in.

As with so many of these issues what my lovely Electro Lymphatic Drainage machine does is get the toxins out and the “good” blood back in. So the fat cells become smaller, the swelling caused by the entangled connective tissue is reduced and skin quality is increased. So the “dimpling” is reduced and less visible.

And why does my machine do it better? Because it is stronger than traditional, manual lymphatic drainage, so it works a little deeper and the effects are quicker and last longer.

When you combine this with all those sensible things like drinking more water and eating less sugar and fat you get some lovely results.

Will it be gone forever? Probably not, but it will be a lot less visible for your beach holiday.
